It was from 1991, and it had "Dysfunctional Family Feud", which I think is one 'The Best of Chris Farley' DVD. But the best sketch was "Club Banana", which was filmed from a woman's point of view (kind of like The Continental) and she's at this abnoxious club and everyone is dancing to "Groove is in the Heart" by Dee-lite, and all these guys keep coming up and like, grinding on her. It sounds stupid, but I swear it's hilarious!! At one point she runs into the bathroom to hide from all these guys in a stall, and as she opens the door, Adam Sandler pops up from behind the toilet dancing with his tongue hanging out.
It also had "The Curse of the Wolf Man", where CS is in his bathroom, and he looks out the window to see that the moon is full and he's going to change into the wolfman. He stares into his bathroom mirror, reciting a monologue explaining the changes that are happening to him, and he keeps ducking down out of view and coming up with wolf teeth and fur on his face, and then you hear a zipper sound and he's got a furry suit on. Again, MUCH better than I can explain it, I promise!!!
 

yes!!! i remember the wolfman sketch -- tho i dont think ive seen it since it originally aired. im not sure about club banana tho.
i used to be way into CS circa the name of the rose. & now girls are calling the cops on him? how times have changed.
 

i was just talking about that with a friend this afternoon and his comment was the best: "whaddya mean i can't grab me some 52 yr. old poon-tang, i'm Christain Slater, I was in Heathers!!"
you probably had to be there, but trust me it was funny. what a loser, all coked up and hanging with his dick out on the UES of all places.

Oh man, I was so crazy about him! I rented Heathers about twice a week.
Here's how much of a geek I was: We went on a family vacation to Disney World when I was in 6th, and I wanted to bring a Christian Slater poster (pulled fom the pages of "Bop" or "Seventeen" magazine) with me, but I couldn't decide which one. So I brought like 3 or 4, and taped them up to the panelling above my bed. Niiiice!

Oh, it's true. There were "Bop" magazine pinups of him everywhere in that room at Fort Wilderness. I can even one up this story-- at the time of this trip, Trish and I were obsessed with "Herman's Head" and were upset we were missing an episode while on vacation.

Yeah... you have to watch those damn Fire Ants. You'll find more mounds after it rains. Just avoid the mounds and they'll leave you alone. If you disturb one, they swarm like you wouldn't believe and they sting twice as bad as honey bees!

Thanks for the encouragement on the FSO exam too. I find out in July - seems like a hell of a long shot.

Loved your pics from Shady Grove and Trudy's. Really took me back. I miss everything about living Austin... except the steamy weather and fire ants, of course.
 

youre very welcome re. my comments. anyone who had a helpful diagnosis for those disgusting bites i got is A-OK in my book. & i think that is what they were (they are mercifully gone now), tho im shocked that i didnt feel it when it happened. then again i drank a LOT of margaritas down there.
